Syafiudin Vifick
As a photographer, Vifick has a lot of experiences in travel photos and documentaries for both the media and his personal projects. Vifick is passionate about capturing moments related to social, culture and environment issues.
As a frequent traveler, he visits many parts of the archipelagic Indonesia to share his knowledge and skill of photography, as well as participating in photo exhibits since 2004. His works have been published in National Geographic Traveller, The Beat Magazine, Majalah Sriwijaya, Bali Buzz, balicoconuts.co, indonesiakreatif.com, news.vice.com, etc.
Vifick initiated ‘Indonesianpinhole.org’, a collective project focusing on archiving pinhole photography activity in Indonesia. Then initiated the #RekamMatahari program to record the sun’s path simultaneously in 500 locations in Indonesia, details at rekammatahari.org. And also initiated #SayaBercerita photography program, a movement to tell stories through photography.
Vifick daily works is in the filed of event and commercial photography. In recent years, vifick has documented many events and conferences in Indonesia and in several countries.
